"Glowwood meets Monday Kitchen" mit Lisa Biletska und Monday Kitchen : SOLOMIYA STUDIO FESTIVAL im KVOST

With the Glowwood card deck and the collaborative project Monday Kitchen, two initiatives come together this evening at Solomiya Studio, bringing environmental awareness and traditional cuisine with a playful and contemporary twist.
Lisa Biletska, whose writing can be found in Solomiya's Environmental Issue, is also the creator of Glowwood - a deck of cards that draws on themes of ecology and invites conversation and introspection. Glowwood's non-hierarchical, interwoven system of plants, insects, fungi, lichens and minerals invites us to talk about human issues from the perspective of non-human ways of life and perspectives. Biletska will form two groups and lead the discussion of a jointly chosen topic. Participants will be invited to talk about their insights as they are selected and guided by the cards. Each session will last about two hours. Up to eight people can sign up for each session.
Monday Kitchen is both a platform and a safe space for and by Ukrainian communities in Berlin. It highlights the work of young artists and promotes Ukrainian culture through traditional cuisine, music events and educational programs. Homemade borscht will be served for a donation on the evening. The proceeds will go to charitable organizations in Ukraine.
