Guitarist and producer Godriguez has gathered some of the best musicians of the new generation in Sydney: A high priest of the Cuban Ifa religion, the stepson of Australia's greatest ever funk and soul musician, Australia's leading drummer of this new generation and a deeply emotionally gifted pianist from New Zealand. These diverse backgrounds culminate in incredibly sensitive musical and emotional connections to form GODTET.

The backgrounds are as diverse as their personalities, but it's the listening and chemistry between the distinctive members that explains why the sum of GODTET is greater than the sum of its parts.

GODTET released their debut GODTET I in late 2017, which was praised as "Album of the Year" by House Shoes (Street Corner Music). Their second LP GODTET II (2018) and the Suite EP (2020) further blur the lines between modern production with samples and a reactive band. In 2020 they released the LP GODTET III, closely followed by the LP MEDITATIONS (2021), an extension of their performance at the Sydney Opera House.
