GOLIF X HAMBURG 2025

Under the title Golif x HAMBURG 2025, the exhibition brings the works of the most exciting emerging artist from Austria, Golif, to the Hanseatic city in an extensive solo exhibition. On display are exclusively new, as yet unseen works by the Viennese artist, which captivate the viewer with their unique painting style and special colors.

For the first time, Golif has painted a series of works with a strong Hamburg connectionespecially for Hamburg, which have never been shown before. The vernissage for the exhibition 'GOLIF X HAMBURG' will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2025, in the presence of the artist from 6 pm. The artist will be present on the evening and will sign his latest book live.

The style of the artist Golif is memorable like no other. Using black paint on various mostly colored backgrounds, the Austrian-born artist paints expressive characters reminiscent of graphic novels with dynamic brushstrokes. The expression is dark and captivating at the same time - the figures are mysterious and always spring from fiction.

In addition to the solo show in the Urbanshit Gallery, the exhibition will also take place in public space in the form of a large-format mural in Hamburg-Altona. The approximately 200 square meter mural on a prominent building wall in a central location will be inaugurated at the same time as the exhibition and will bring Golif's art to Hamburg, even outside of the gallery.
