GOODBYE/FAREWELL

In the organizer's words:

What do we have to say goodbye to in the face of the climate crisis? What conditions and practices enable us to allow change? What role does the body play in this?

With GOODBYE / FAREWELL , Antje Velsinger / new trouble go in search of how transformation becomes possible. Choreographic strategies of saying goodbye are interwoven with stories of loss and rituals that question people's place in the world. Time and again, spaces open up in which grief can be admitted and shared. The audience is invited to enter these spaces together with the performers and to look out for moments in which change begins.

GOODBYE / FAREWELL is the second part of the trilogy FUTURE RELATIONS, a choreographic exploration of sustainable relationships in the context of the climate crisis. The audience can leave and return at any time during the performance.

Language: The performance includes short text passages in German and English spoken language.
