GOODWIN (The Slow Show Frontman) featuring LAMBERT

GOODWIN is the solo project of Rob Goodwin, the frontman and baritone singer of Manchester indie pop band The Slow Show.

In late 2023, during a break from touring with his band, GOODWIN began working on something of his own - a collection of intimate solo recordings that focus on his soulful expressiveness and poetic storytelling.

Inspired by the moody, atmospheric works of artists such as Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake, these deeply personal songs represent vulnerability. Romantic, dream-like stories that you can snuggle up to and lose yourself in.

Written in his new home in Germany and recorded in Neukölln, Berlin, during an intensely creative time with Berlin pianist and producer Lambert.

The playfulness in the process encouraged me to write freely and follow my curiosity. On a new path, I was often completely lost, but always discovered something new.
