Gotopo. Durchlüften 2025 - Open Air im Schlüterhof. Konzerte, DJ-Sets

Free, outdoors and under palm trees: this summer, the DURCHLÜFTEN music festival will once again transform the Humboldt Forum's large Schlüterhof courtyard into a lively meeting place for sound, rhythm and culture.

Over four weekends, music from all over the world will radiate from the stage: from the raw energy of Mexican cumbia punk to the hypnotic groove of Kenyan dodo blues, from the electrifying syncopation of Congolese soukous to the powerful messages of Afrofuturist big bands.

Japanese folk with a Caribbean influence, soulful jazz, hip-hop and the joy and resilience of the Frafra gospel round off this celebration of sound - boundless, multi-perspective and irresistibly danceable!

Gotopo (Venezuela, Berlin)

Gotopo is a singer, composer, producer and performer based in Berlin. Her music builds a bridge between Afro-indigenous rhythm traditions and innovative electronic beats. Originally from Venezuela, she mixes folkloric string instruments with techno-inspired grooves, creating a bold fusion of tradition and futurism. Her debut EP Sacúdete reinterprets folkloric sounds in the context of Berlin's vibrant club scene - with pulsating basslines, spiritual energy and an uncompromising creative approach. The EP was created in collaboration with Latin Grammy award winner and producer Don Elektron, Simón Mejía (Bomba Estéreo) and Robot Koch and embodies a danceable revolution characterized by cultural heritage.

In 2024, Gotopo's single "Sacúdete" was selected as the official soundtrack for the new Major League Soccer season in the USA and was celebrated by Billboard for its electrifying energy. Gotopo is also redefining Afro-Latin American music for the global stage in her upcoming music projects. As a DURCHLÜFTEN regular, we look forward to welcoming her back in 2025.
