This extraordinary performance by the duo Haase & Rupcich allows sounds to enter into a dialog with projections. On countless narrative paths, they take up the festival's motto, play with illusions, create deep and immersive atmospheres and allow the audience to sink into their chairs and armchairs in fascination and follow the goings-on on violin and screen.

Musician Johannes Haase and video artist Nicolás Rupcich merge improvisation, composition and video projections especially for the realtime festival to create a sound-image composition tailored to the theme and location. Micro and macro structures become audible, visible and physically tangible in Grains. Violin with sound manipulations, synthesizer, field recordings and pre-recorded video samples come together in the performance. The result is a multi-dimensional audio-visual concert that stimulates all the senses!
