In the organizer's words:

Nowadays, exhibition stands are often constructed from printed, textile-covered lightweight walls. While the aluminum substructure is reusable, the printed textile films are thrown away after a week at the trade fair - an enormous waste of resources.

In the first semester of the bachelor's degree course in interior design, the students were given the task of using the discarded fabrics as a source material for their furniture designs, thus giving them a second, longer life.
New three-dimensional lamps and furniture were created in the university's workshops from large, two-dimensional advertising spaces.

Parallel to this exhibition, projects entitled MATERIAL ALS DESIGNIMPULS are on display on the first floor. The exhibition will be opened on 18.03. from 17:30.
