Two people, boards, ropes and - grass.
Suddenly on stage, the grass flies through the air, is rolled, thrown and bent and proves its unshakeable resilience. With creativity and humor, Sophie van der Vuurst de Vries and Willem Balduyck use simple materials to develop an imaginative and acrobatic circus performance about our dependence on nature, which, on the other hand, doesn't need us humans at all.
"Grasshoppers" is a sensitive circus performance about relationships, empathy and responsibility - and an appeal to appreciate nature.
