Gravelbande: Dokufilm – Ride as One

In the organizer's words:

"Ride as One" is a documentary that captures the essence of gravel biking - cycling belongs to all of us - regardless of gender, experience or limitations. At the center are Marina and Yanin, two female cyclists who embark on a 250 km challenge - an experience through untouched landscapes and beyond their own limits. The route takes them from Marburg via Giessen to the large Feldberg mountain in the Taunus and back to Marburg. Between the start and finish, the two can expect the best forest and gravel paths in Hesse.

Marina, sporting director of the women's national cycling league team "PZ- Gießen Racing Team", the driving force behind the largest women's cycling club in Central Hesse and a self-employed craftswoman with her own business. Yanin, a passionate adventurer, teacher, bon vivant and woman of many talents. The two friends master steep climbs, deep valleys and lonely paths - driven only by their will to push their own boundaries and distil the essence of their friendship. But this film shows more than just the physical and psychological challenges. It tells the story of two women who have the courage to face their greatest sporting challenge to date. It shows the euphoria when obstacles dissolve and the pure joy of riding prevails. It tells of moments of exhaustion and doubt.
