GREEN BLUES BAND - Dirty Blues zur Einheit

Are back again! Our house and wedding blues band: THE GREEN BLUES BAND
We are delighted to welcome this blues band back to the Black Pearl for the 3rd time.

They write about themselves:
"The Green Blues Band is a blues-rock formation from Bremen, which formed in 2003 around the Bremen guitarist and singer Ole Morisse and the Lithuanian harp player Danny Lee. Within two years, the band had become a welcome guest on blues and rock stages in clubs and at festivals in Germany and abroad.

After a break and a reshuffle on bass and drums, the band returned to its successful original line-up in 2010 and released its official debut album in 2011/12, which made its first mark on the national and international radio landscape and the blues scene.

Stylistically, the band's sound can be categorized between the dirty blues of the Red Devils and the crunchy rock of modern blues greats such as Jonny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Even though pieces by these protagonists do appear in the band's program, the Green Blues Band has developed its own style and songs that differ from all of this and bring a breath of fresh air to the blues genre.

2013 saw a new line-up and the young drumming talent Rasmus Bruns took over the drums.
Another album was released at the beginning of 2019 and was also advertised in "Blues-News".
In 2020, their bassist Jürgen Streithorst died suddenly and unexpectedly and was replaced by Christian Figge. The band can now be seen and heard again full of energy on the stages of this world."
