Live travelogue with Dylan Wickrama

Over three years and 210,000 km, Dylan Wickrama travels around the world on his motorcycle. He meets bears in Alaska, encounters original cultures in Ethiopia, breakdowns in the Australian outback and sunrises on Costa Rica's beaches. But then all roads come to an end: Between Panama and Colombia lies one of the wildest areas on our planet, the Darién Gap. No road leads through the swampy jungle area, home to guerrillas and drug smugglers.

If you want to get from Central to South America, you need an alternative. The perfect challenge for Dylan: he is the first adventurer ever to travel 650 km from Panama City across the Pacific to Colombia on a boatorcycle, a self-built raft powered by a motorcycle. A six-week odyssey that often pushes the adventurer to his limits. The most difficult and at the same time most beautiful time of his journey.

Anyone who attends a lecture by Dylan will experience anything but a classic motorcycle tour story. Dylan tells his life story, talks about how the journey has changed him. How material things have lost their value for him and how it is now much more important to him to collect experiences rather than things.
