A dance theater piece
by Sophie Haydee Colindres Zühlke & Serhat "Saïd" Perhat

Ten people, one subway, 24 hours. In the urban dance theater piece by Serhat "Saïd" Perhat and Sophie Haydee Colindres Zühlke, the personalities of the protagonists are made visible through movement and the individual careers of the performers are reflected. The performance combines contemporary dance techniques with urban aesthetics and shows how the performers go their own way and faithfully pursue their passion despite everyday challenges.

The piece takes up the dancers' everyday processes, emotions and strokes of fate, which find metaphorical expression in the subway, among other things. The subway as a means of transport symbolizes the journey from "here to there" - a space in which people from different classes, crammed in and static, nevertheless pursue a common goal: to arrive. This experience is brought to life in the performance by contrasting the external perspective on life in the urban community with the performers' internal view.
