The Creeping Squirrel and the Drumpfmumpf
The Creeping Squirrel has lost his treasure - stolen by the nasty Drumpfmumpf! Determined, he sets off on a search and meets friends along the way: the double bear, Violin the bee, a many-stringed donkey and Pink Throat. Together they embark on an adventure and show how courage and friendship can overcome any challenge. This modern fairy tale combines enchanting stories with lively music.
The music and the ensemble
The group "crazy freilach" - consisting of Jeannine Engelen (vocals), Simon Boos (clarinet), Emma Fridman (violin), Julian Hilgert (guitar) and Daniel Hessel (double bass) - brings Klezmer to the stage with passion. With virtuoso elements, improvisations and contemporary influences, they lend new facets to Yiddish music. Their music, characterized by deep feelings, takes the audience on an emotional journey.
