It's far too nice a day to spend at school. 16-year-old Ferris draws the only logical conclusion: he fakes an illness to his parents and is allowed to stay at home. He calls his best friend Cameron and convinces him to steal his father's 1961 Ferrari and make Chicago unsafe. He also manages to use a clever trick to get his girlfriend Sloane out of class and take her with him. But principal Rooney, of all people, gets wind of the whole thing. Ferris has long been a thorn in his side and he does everything he can to catch him in the act.
Director John Hughes delivered another coming-of-age mega-hit just one year after THE BREAKFAST CLUB. FERRIS MACHT BLAU is classic 80s cinema and a real feel-good movie!
