Grosswetterlage: Geschichten im Dialog

In the organizer's words:

On five storytelling evenings spread loosely over the first half of 2025, Bärbel Jogschies and Cordula Gerndt will tell traditional and modern stories on the respective keyword of the general weather situation in Regensburg's Turmtheater. A guest will be invited to talk about the topic from their everyday life. In the subsequent conversation on stage, we will enter into a dialog with each other - and with the audience. The annual theme of " Großwetterlage" is sponsored by the Regensburg Cultural Office.

Cordula Gerndt and Bärbel Jogschies will explore five aspects of the general weather situation with their free narrative art on five evenings. They tell myths, fairy tales and other stories in a lively and true-to-life way. In conversation with guests whose expertise is reality, the stories are then put to the test over a glass of wine.

We want to look HIGH and look DEEP at the same time. We create PRESSURE and stand up to it. We are on the FRONT line and are not afraid to take a close look. We follow the CURRENT and are excited to see where the journey takes us.

HIGH 24.03.

Things are looking up! Tower high! Who is closest to the sky? Who is the king of the skies? We talk about flights of fancy, feelings of elation and highs. Arrogance and hubris cast their shadows.

TIEF 14.04.

Storms arise when the barometer drops. We cross valleys and plunge into abysses. Deep in the earth we discover hidden things: treasures, truths, longings.

PRESSURE 02.06.

The burden of responsibility creates pressure. Dealing with it is an art. Pressure creates diamonds. But sometimes it becomes too much and we need to lighten up and release the pressure.

FRONT 23.06.

Suddenly we are face to face, eye to eye, in the front line. Opposites seem irreconcilable. The conflict is unavoidable. There is only winning or losing. Or is there a third?

STROM 07.07.

Wild water drives us! We immerse ourselves in the current of time, let ourselves be carried along or carried along, ride the waves, draw energy and let it go again. Everything flows.
