Guacayo'seclectic indie pop shows are a celebration of authenticity, community and an invitation to self-acceptance. In their catchy and touching songs, they prove that their artistic journey inspires not only musically, but also emotionally and spiritually. Guacayo bring socially critical indie pop to the stage that makes you feel, let go and dance. On this tour, the debut album "Indigo Sky" will be celebrated and inspired to question dusty beliefs and hip joints to driving off-beats.

Guacayo accompanies a story of transformation and self-discovery. After four years of promising band history, the group faced what you might call "ambiguities" in a "foursome" (because that's what a band really is). Questions about the direction of the band and the transformation of relationship traps like codependency and fear of loss led them on a path of self-reflection and honest encounters that ultimately resulted in a breakthrough from heaviness to lightness. The result of this journey is "Indigo Sky".

Guacayo's debut album plays with contrasts, where light melodies and cheerful beats merge with lyrics and vocals that are full of vulnerability and depth. "Indigo Sky" takes the listener on an emotional journey through an arduous process of change. Songs such as "Out In The Cold" and "Imik Simik" address the challenges of our time - from the emotional coldness of people to war and environmental pollution. The tracks "Wind Down", "Drama" and "I Don't Need You" focus on the expression of exhaustion from toxic relationships, social media, the suppression of one's own truth and the constant need to function.

Guacayo, consisting of Tim Lucas, Tobias Nitzbon, Justus Murphy and the fascinating Sophie Filip, have been writing and producing their own music for over six years now. Sophie, who is the heart of the group, expresses her world-weariness, anger and longing for a more open world in her lyrics. Her desire for emotions to be taken seriously is reflected in every note - "so that we can finally develop socially and understand ourselves, and then also each other". She is a globetrotter, speaks fluent Spanish, English and French and is committed to bringing different cultures together.

Guacayo have established themselves as an exotic newcomer band. Following their EPs "Yuniverse" (2019) and "Lemonade" (2021), their debut album "Indigo Sky" will be released in October 2024.
