Gudensberg Christmas market on the first weekend of Advent: Festive anticipation at three Christmas locations

On the first weekend of Advent, the Gudensberg Christmas market opens its doors and invites you to immerse yourself in a wintery Advent atmosphere. Festively decorated, the town center presents itself this year with three enchanted experience areas - connected by an atmospheric avenue of Christmas trees and numerous, lovingly decorated stalls that entice visitors with treats, Christmas decorations and the scent of mulled wine.

Three festive adventure areas for young and old:

Stage magic and entertainment around the town hall

Christmas entertainment awaits you around the town hall. The program starts on the stage on Friday at 17:00 with the musical opening by the Gudensberg elementary school and an atmospheric performance by Müller and Riehl at 20:00. But there will not only be Christmas performances around the town hall. There will also be festive music to enjoy on a second stage in front of the G1.

Winterallee with Kinderland

Winter adventures await the little ones in the Winterallee: an exciting roller slide, Christmas craft activities in the culture wagon, children's carousel and cheerful children's scooters will make children's eyes light up. On Sunday at 17:00, Santa Claus himself will come to Kinderland to delight the little visitors with a surprise.

Christmas Food Corner in front of G1 with a living nativity scene

The second stage is located in the Christmas Food Corner in front of G1 and is surrounded by Christmas delights and tempting aromas. Here you can find everything from savory to sweet treats. On Sunday, MGV Gleichen invites you to join them for Christmas caroling at 16:00. There are also two special highlights in this area: the Schlossberglangohren living nativity scene will be on display for the first time on Saturday and Sunday in front of the meadow in front of G1 and Furhalterei Döring will be offering romantic carriage rides through Gudensberg on Saturday and Sunday from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Connecting Christmas avenue with festive stalls

The three Christmas experience areas are connected by an atmospherically illuminated avenue of decorated fir trees, lined with numerous stalls with Christmas decorations, mulled wine and sweet and savory treats.

Arts and crafts market in the community center and G1

Once again this year, the arts and crafts market is a real highlight. For the first time, it will not only open its doors in the Bürgerhaus, but will be extended by artisans in G1. The market is open on Saturday from 11:00 to 19:00 and Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00. At both locations, visitors will find handmade Christmas gifts and special decorations, perfect for their own home or as a lovely surprise.
