He himself wonders: Are my wife and children right? Am I a walking cliché? An old, white silverback? Will I soon need adhesive cream or will I get back on the skateboard? And how is my prostate doing - does it still make sense to pee standing up?
Sure, he's a self-confessed old-timer. But they are known to be sexy and sought-after.
His motto is: I'm not getting old, I'm collecting development opportunities.
But of course Fischer also has a lot of problems to solve:
How do I keep my youthful freshness, my fantastically fit body - and my own appendix? How do I organize a children's birthday party in a WhatsApp group - somewhere between goodie bags and vegan gluten-free chocolate cookies without sugar? Is it a good sign if your blood pressure is higher than your bank balance?
Guido Fischer is not afraid of the uncharted territory of the Internet. He was already familiar with Google Maps when it was still called ADAC Autoatlas. TikTok and Instagram won't scare anyone who has already conquered Polaroid and rotary dial phones. Even if Fischer mainly uses filters to make his coffee in the morning: He says "yes" to social media!
"Totally cringe" says his son. Well, he thinks: that's probably the new cool!
And while others are annoyed by hate messages, he's happy that anyone is writing to him at all.
Guido Fischer has been on the road as "Caveman" for 13 years. Now he's venturing out of the cave with his new solo program. The result is a fast-paced comedy evening full of sparkling punchlines and quirky thoughts about the pitfalls, mistakes and temptations of getting older.
