Throughout their 35-year history, Guitar Gangsters have been influenced by the very best bands of the first wave of punk and as a result have evolved into one of the best live acts around, always convincing on stage.
Formed in London in the late 1980s, the band has played all over the world and shared the stage with countless punk legends.
Originally the Gangsters were a trio, with brothers Pete and Phil on guitar and bass, but five years ago they added a second guitarist, Ed Sonsino, and the powerful sound became even more powerful.
After so many years, many bands may rest on their back catalog, but Guitar Gangsters have never been a band to stand still. With the release of their latest album "Fortune Favors The Brave", the band has reached new listeners and the EP "The Faithful", released in 2024, has become their most streamed track in the last six months. New songs are already in the works and will be released on a new album later this year.
Guitar Gangsters stay true to their inspiring punk rock melodies, firing off anthem after anthem from the stage with more than a hint of rock'n'roll attitude. With a presence that can only be achieved through years of experience, there's never been a better time to see this band live.
