Guitars come together
Pack your guitar and join in.
Making music together is fun and brings people together. At Guitars come together, you come with your guitar and we play well-known (campfire) songs together as a large group and sing along (if you like). We are accompanied by a band and the lyrics and chords are projected onto a screen. Our events are moderated, there are a few suggestions on how to play the songs and then we make music together. It's all about enjoying the music together. The sound experience doesn't have to be perfect, first and foremost it should be great fun.
Who can come?
Anyone who likes to play the guitar can come - whether old or young, professional or almost beginner. You should be able to play a few basic chords (individual chords can be left out at any time). The focus will be on the guitars, but if you just want to sing and join in, you are welcome to come without a guitar.
What should I bring?
A desire to play guitar, music, the community experience, singing (not a must) and a tuned guitar. Also welcome are percussive instruments (tambourine, rattle, shaker), kazoo, ... Please bring your guitar in a bag so that it can be stored safely during the break. Plectrum, tuner, capo, guitar stand (to put the guitar down in between), guitar strap might also be useful - but you can do without them.
