Somehow we humans are rather tightly in the stranglehold of auxiliary time words. Well, not the words themselves, but what they describe very much determines the terrain in which our actions take place: Can, must and will.
If you know and can do everything but don't want to, you won't do anything. Well, unless they have to. But then he only does it until he no longer has to. And if he knows and can do everything, he will arrange it so that he has to do less and less, and then over time he won't do anything either. And you really have to want to live like that.
