ALDI SOUTH is once again making Christmas affordable for everyone this year and is expanding Germany's cheapest Christmas market to four cities in 2024. After last year's great success, the Christmas market will take place in Cologne, Munich, Stuttgart and Frankfurt this year. All proceeds will be donated to the Off Road Kids Foundation.

Christmas joy for everyone

According to a YouGov survey, around 62% of respondents visit a Christmas market at least once in the run-up to Christmas. For many, this now also includes the cheapest Christmas market in Germany from ALDI SOUTH. This year, the discounter is once again offering a variety of popular Christmas market treats at the usual low ALDI price.

Christmas treats from 1 euro

The price of mulled wine at Christmas markets has risen to around 3-6 euros in recent years. ALDI SOUTH is setting an example and is once again offering mulled wine for just 1 euro this year. As ALDI SOUTH's mulled wine was so popular with visitors, there will even be two mulled wine stands this year. All food and drinks will be prepared with ALDI's own brands such as GUT BIO, NUR NUR NATUR, MILSANI, MOSER ROTH and GOURMET FINEST CUISINE:

• Mulled wine and non-alcoholic alternatives for just 1 euro
• Crêpes in different variations for only 2 euros
• Bratwurst (also veggie) for just 2 euros
• Sweet cookie variations, each bag for only 1 euro

Festive atmosphere for the whole family

In addition to the tasty treats, various entertainment options such as a free photo campaign and a children's carousel ensure a festive atmosphere. A new feature this year is the hourly Christmas caroling event organized by the ALDI SOUTH Group. During this joint singing event, a popular Christmas song will be sung every hour to increase the anticipation of the festive season and promote a strong sense of community.

Support for the Off Road Kids Foundation

ALDI SOUTH also demonstrates its social commitment during the Christmas season. All proceeds from the Christmas markets will be donated to the Off Road Kids Foundation to support its important work and give children and young people without a home a perspective. The proceeds from the Christmas market benefit the respective region.
