The Italian Cultural Institute Cologne presents "Gustavo la vita", a performance by and with Andrea Farnetani, on Saturday, December 6 at 5 pm in its theater hall.

In this production, Andrea Farnetani brings together his repertoire, which has matured over 20 years and has been performed all over the world, which he brings to new life with his latest character "Gustavo La Vita". Gustavo La Vita, a virtuoso, sweet clown with a childlike curiosity, has a subliminal desire to play with the seriousness of life, which is often accompanied by the disappointment of failure. But since Gustavo is a clown, he knows how to enchant the audience and show the funny side of failure. With a great deal of poetry, lightness and irony, he succeeds in depicting the fragile balance of the human soul.

Born in Rome in 1982, Andrea Farnetani presents contemporary circus clowning with dance, theater and magical elements. He has been touring the world with his shows for twenty years, bringing laughter to the people. From 2006 to 2010, he formed the duo "Smile Carucci" with Jacopo Candeloro. In 2014, he founded "La Compagnia Bellavita" with Antonio Coluccio. Since 2015 he has been working with "Circo El Grito".
