The French producer, DJ and musician Guts has established himself internationally as a versatile sound architect. With a creative vision that encompasses hip-hop, funk, soul, jazz, afrobeat and electronica, he has rightly achieved cult status as a master of cross-genre sounds. This applies to his own albums as well as his collaborations and DJ sets.

As a musical archaeologist, GUTS explores the sounds of tropical regions, especially the Caribbean and Africa, with great intensity. In his "Straight From The Decks" compilations, he shares the best tracks from his DJ sets, which combine hip-hop, funk, soul, jazz, afrobeats and afrotropical into a euphorically grooving journey around the world.

Sonido Tupinamba, who was born in the Argentinian Andes, is also inspired by the roots of African and Latin American music and mixes tropical influences with disco, funk and house grooves. Their eclectic and lively sessions transport us to different eras and places.

Marc Hype has lived through virtually every decade of hip-hop and hasn't stopped to this day, always with his very own groove. Whether hip-hop, soul, disco, electronica or breaks, his record collection, his selection on the decks and his musical spectrum are universal.
