Hydrogen research made easy to digest - that's the promise of the Hydrogen Flagship Projects Science Slam on August 13, 2025 in Frankfurt/Main. Four researchers will be serving up their best recipes from four years of lighthouse project research on the deck of the MS Wissenschaft and vying for the audience's favor.

In the Science Year 2025 - Future Energy, the hydrogen flagship projects are venturing into the supreme discipline of science communication: the science slam. On the deck of the MS Wissenschaft, which is touring Germany with four exhibits from the lighthouse projects on board, the scientists will compete on August 13, 2025 in Frankfurt/Main. Who will be able to communicate their hydrogen research in the most creative, entertaining and understandable way, convince the audience and win the day?

How does the Science Slam work?

The slammers each have ten minutes to present their field of research to the audience. Ten minutes in which they explain complex topics in a clear and entertaining way. Short, crisp, scientifically correct. All aids are allowed: PowerPoint presentations, props or live experiments.
