Every first Thursday of the month, the over 100-year-old harbor station between Hamburg's fish market and the Elbe beach is transformed into a vibrant meeting place for musical creativity. Musicians - whether instrumental or vocal - come together to celebrate the magic of the jam in spontaneous sessions. Charismatic host and musician Khalil Kry leads the jam.

Hafenbounce is more than just a jam session - it is a space of appreciation for music and poetry and personal stories. Respect for art, respect in the audience, respect on stage.

Opening act Melvin & Sinem:

MELVIN is a 23-year-old, non-binary singer and songwriter who inspires with his soulful pop ballads. He became known in 2017 through his participation in The Voice of Germany, where he reached the semi-finals. Since then, he has released several singles and an EP that reflect his passion for catchy melodies and honest lyrics. In addition to his solo career, MELVIN has been leading the Born2Sing choir for a year now, where he passes on his musical experience. With his distinctive voice and authentic charisma, he always tries to pick up the audience.

SINEM, a 24-year-old singer and songwriter, combines German and Turkish lyrics in her music in a unique way. Her passion for music began in her early childhood when she loved to sing and perform for her family and friends.

As a singer, Sinem started singing in choirs during her school years. Her voice, influenced by her Turkish heritage, carries an unmistakable melancholic sound.

At the age of 18, Sinem's brother secretly signed her up for "The Voice of Germany" in 2018. She accepted the challenge and chose to sing in Turkish to emphasize the importance of understanding and expressing emotions in music, which she sees as a spiritual experience. The positive feedback from her performances strengthened her desire to make singing her life's work.

Today, Sinem is working hard to realize her dreams. She aspires to start her own tour, collaborate with her favorite artists and consistently incorporate her cultural roots into her music. She is currently working on her debut EP, an important step towards establishing herself as an artist in Germany and launching her music career.
