Augsburger swa-Straßenlauf

In the organizer's words:

The third largest city in Bavaria, Augsburg, is the venue for a beautiful run at the end of April. It runs through the Siebentischwald, the northern part of the city forest.

The start and finish are at the Sportanlage Süd, Ilsunger Straße 15a. There will be a half marathon and a 6.7 km hobby run. There will also be team competitions. Extra prizes await runners with new course records.

The half marathon runs over three laps. There is a refreshment station with minerals, water and light food every three kilometers. There are two stations on the circuit. The route runs over roads, i.e. asphalt. These are almost completely resurfaced. You also run in parks and forests. The advantage: the run is sheltered from the wind, very flat and therefore quite fast. All routes are measured according to DLV guidelines and well signposted. They are therefore eligible for the best lists.

On the first lap, the half marathon runs along Siebentischstraße in the north of the forest. After the start, the route quickly heads southeast into the forest and south past the Stempflesee lake. The tour also leads far into the south of the city forest. A long loop is run here, then the route returns.
