Half Darling
Between rapid catchiness and elegantly inconsistent total refusal, the band HALF DARLING uses several levers of pop history: punk, noise, hip hop, love song and Steve Reich! Numerous musical references are used to create selective references, which together result in an independent, sometimes irritating and consistently feminist aesthetic. The songs are carried by a high level of energy, with the band focusing on minimalist structures, rhythmic shifts, irritation and the intensity of repetition. Together, HALF DARLING produce musical gems that combine loops, beats, riot and pop-affine hooklines in tense relationships that drive the cart into the wall at every turn - simply because the impact sounds so beautiful. Yes and No, Half Darling is not a crime.

The band collective HALF DARLING is made up of Elise Mory (synths), Lisa Kortschak (vocals), Gregor Mahnert (guitar, vocals), Oliver Stotz (synths, bass), Johanna Forster (guitar) and Werner Thenmayer (drums) in different formations live and in the studio, depending on the occasion, availability, desire and mood. They are no strangers to the scene, having played with Gustav und Band, Peter Hein im Schallschatten, EUROTEURO, Möström, F.E.I.D.L, In the Hills, the Cities and FS Massaker, among others.

Ambiviolenz is a four-piece performance pop powerhouse that was founded in 2018 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg and has since played its way into the hearts of its hedonistic audience with over 60 rousing and sometimes unconventional live performances.

Ambiviolenz inhales the nihilism of punk rock and spits it out again in several genres, chewed through by the states of lyricism. Artistically giddy, the band dares to take eccentricity seriously and undress instead of camouflage by dressing up. Their album Schwindelig was released in February 2023.
