Hallo Fahrrad – Fahrradtag in der Oldenburger Innenstadt

Hello bike - bike day in Oldenburg city center

Oldenburg and cycling - they simply belong together. To express our love of cycling, an entire event is dedicated to our favorite means of transport every year. "Hallo Fahrrad" transforms Oldenburg's city center into a meeting place for cycling enthusiasts.

In 2025, many exhibitors will once again present themselves on the Rathausmarkt and Schlossplatz. Discover the latest models of bicycles, e-bikes, cargo bikes and recumbents. You can test ride your favorite directly on the test track in the castle courtyard. The bike check or bike coding, for example, will ensure you get the right bike service. Would you like a little more pampering for your bike? Have it polished to a shine during the cleaning campaign. And what about your vacation planning? Many travel regions and tour operators will be presenting their offers for you and your bike at the event. As so many impressions make you hungry, there will also be a few tasty snacks.

Many hands-on activities and the supporting program at Hallo Fahrrad ensure fun and excitement.

Opening hours

Event on the Rathausmarkt and Schlossplatz: 12 to 6 pm

• ADFC Oldenburg: chargeable bike coding from 12 to 6 p.m. (ID and proof of purchase required), information stand on bike tours and club work
• Oldenburg recumbent bike group: recumbent bike course for children, free participation
• Climate kids on the move course: course with ramps, jogging tracks, seesaws and traffic signs for children aged 5 to 10, either with their own bike or a rental bike from the ADFC
• Oldenburg-Stadt/Ammerland police station: police bicycle registration on site, advice on securing and protecting bicycles and safe participation in road traffic
• Round Table 14 Oldenburg | TrostReich Oldenburger Trauerbegleitung für Kinder und Jugendliche e.V.: Bicycle cleaning campaign (for a donation of 10 euros to the Trostreich association)
• City of Oldenburg: Free bike check for road safety with minor repairs on site, also for running bikes, e-bikes (25km/h), cargo bikes, trailers, wheelchairs and rollators
