Dirndl meets sea bear - Hamburg fish market on Wittelsbacherplatz from Father's Day! From May 29, the crew of the Hamburg Fish Market will be setting sail again and, as is tradition, will be anchoring at Wittelsbacherplatz on Brienner Straße from Father's Day (Ascension Day). For over 25 years, the square has been transformed into a maritime spectacle, where dirndls and lederhosen under the white-blue sky meet North German sea dogs in busker hulls. The white sausage can then take a break until June 9, when matjes, fried fish and co. take over the helm! Enjoy real Nordic moments of pleasure with fresh fish and Hamburg specialties. Whether for a second breakfast or simply as an enjoyable break - there's something here for every taste. Waterkant feeling and Bavarian joie de vivre - what a good combination. Toast with a cool blonde or a glass of coastal fog and let yourself be enchanted by the relaxed atmosphere! Despite the colorful market atmosphere, there is still enough time for a friendly chat, swaying together and sharing old memories. Accompanied by maritime sounds that awaken longing and a thirst for adventure, Wittelsbacherplatz becomes a place where northerners and Bavarians celebrate together.
