Hamburger Kammerballett - Kunstkammer

In the organizer's words:

The work is an atmospherically dense cross-section of previous works by the Hamburg Chamber Ballet - a finely balanced composition of classical and contemporary dance. The piece impressively demonstrates the stylistic diversity and creative range with which the ensemble has touched and inspired audiences since it was founded in summer 2022.

The Hamburg Kammballett was founded by Isabelle Rohlfs and Edvin Revazov as an artistic response to the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. The ensemble not only offers displaced Ukrainian dancers a new home, but also combines dance with social relevance.

In "Kunstkammer", eight outstanding dancers come together to tell stories with their expressive power, condense moods and create a profound resonance with every movement. An invitation to an evening that moves - personally, politically and poetically.
