PREUSSISCH BLAU: Shamanic breath vibrations - classical, blues, minimal, rock & roll. The three virtuosos breathe - loudly, quietly, rhythmically, chorally - breath vibrations as a dialog. With their jew's harps, they improvise "on the fly" and create an electronically vibrating, rhythmically fascinating cosmos of sound through the khomus playing of Yakut shamans, harmonica, duduk and shruti box. Overtone and undertone singing complete the program. With their sophisticated playing techniques, they create vibrating sounds that calm and relieve tension, regulate the flow of breath, whose hypnotic effect creates harmonious images and allows cloudy thoughts to float away.

Toni Kater lives and works as a musician and author in Berlin. In 2011 she founded her own record label Toni Kater Records, on which she has already released several albums. Her songs are full of poetry, unusual images, depth and humor. She has once again reduced the music on "JEMALS", Toni Kater's eighth studio album, to a minimum. The songs, which are often overlong in times of maximum brevity, are accompanied almost exclusively by acoustic guitar and electric guitar delays.

"JEMALS" is an honest and up-close album with which Toni Kater once again manages to remain unbounded. In January 2025, she was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award.
