Handwerkzeug-Kurs: Klassische Holzverbindungen (3 Abende)

The aim of this course is to get to know various classic wooden joints used in furniture making. We will try out different joints with a rule, saw, chisel and your manual dexterity and use them to build a small box with different joints (finger joints, dovetail joints). All this without electricity and superhuman effort, but we will show you tricks and tips on how everyone can succeed, as well as one or two auxiliary tools. Alternatively, it is also possible to practise the connections only. - Please let us know in advance. In the run-up to the work, we will give a short introduction to the various joints and the work steps.

Costs: 150€ + 35€ material

Previous knowledge: Handling wood - hand tools (saw, chisel, measuring and marking tools, etc.) are desirable but not a must
