If operas are considered a "powerhouse of emotions", what could small club concerts be described as? Without the really big production, without an exuberant cast? The concerts by Hanna Meyerholz and her duo partner Phil Wood are the best example of this: two artists, their voices, their stories, emotions and guitars. Something that resonates silently and remains like a filed memory. Two who can leave more of an impression than all the bombast and dazzle of the big stage. Today they are accompanied by Stefan Schneider on drums.
The trio succeeds in presenting beautiful ballads, dense compositions and simply good songs that make the guitar an exciting instrument. Well-rehearsed, accomplished and therefore absolutely familiar - rousing, sometimes melancholy and with a candlelight coziness.

The fantastic vocal parts and harmonies are wrapped up in acoustic folk songs. Lyrics that invite intense listening: sometimes introverted and vulnerable, sometimes extraordinary and distinct. Hanna Meyerholz and Phil Wood's performance is emotional but not over the top, they live what they bring to the stage.
