Hanover is a city of music through and through. Which, by the way, once really annoyed Hamburg, who always thought they were. But their own research showed otherwise. Certainly one reason why we are doing this tour in the "Unesco City of Music". But there are also world-changing inventions such as the record, the gramophone and the first record label. Not only is this the home of one of the biggest bands in rock music, the Scorpions, but it was also once home to the world's largest independent record company. And also the first stadium concerts in Germany - not to mention world hits from this city. There are unusual, sometimes unknown places associated with it, as well as exciting people to report on - and also world successes from this city.

Tom Ruthemann has accompanied this live for more than 30 years as a music journalist and is looking forward to introducing the guests of the City of Music Tour to these places and telling amusing stories and anecdotes.
