In the organizer's words:

Hannover SpokenWord - The stage for the spoken word

You like to write poems, short stories, humorous stories, speeches or personal thoughts. If you would like to perform these on stage without obligation, but have not yet dared to do so or already have experience, then you have come to the right place.
"Hannover SpokenWord" is an open reading stage for everything that moves with language.

Our focus is on expression, atmosphere and togetherness.
You can expect an evening full of words that are honest, diverse and straight from the heart. Whether touching, political, humorous or experimental. Expression finds its place here.

We want to create a safe, respectful space where thoughts can be heard and stories shared regardless of previous experience or familiarity. It's about courage, connection and the power of the spoken word.
After the performance, those who wish are invited to a short conversation about the text, motivation or simply life.

A respectful and safe space is important to us. We focus on mutual appreciation and open interaction. We would like to point out that discrimination in any form, be it sexism, racism, queerophobia or other forms of exclusion, has no place here.
