Hanse Fest 2025

On the third weekend in September, Neuss city center regularly shines in Hanseatic splendor for the Hanseatic Festival. Various Hanseatic cities present themselves in front of the town hall throughout the weekend, including the cities of the Rhenish Hanse Wesel, Kalkar/Grieth, Emmerich and Neuss, Salzwedel and Brilon.

Visitors interested in the nature of the Hanseatic League and the history of Neuss can take part in free guided tours of the city.

Colorful stalls with various goods and food and drink stands await visitors throughout the city center. There is a colorful program for children. A stage program offers entertainment and information at the market.

The Hansefest runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
