Happy birthday to me!
Ching & Friends is a group of friends who came together a few years ago in the heart of
the heart of Central Hesse as part of their theater studies, including Dramaturgy, Comparative
Dramaturgy and Performance Research (CDPR), Theater, Film and Media Studies
(TFM) at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, as well as Applied Theater
Theater Studies (ATW) and Choreography and Performance (CuP) at the
Justus Liebig University Giessen.
During the intensive exchange of opinions on the way to seminars, theaters and beer
our friendship has grown over the years, even though we live in different cities.
We therefore decided to do projects together in order to share our insignificant
life paths. Depending on the constellation of participants and the given conditions of each

ranging from post-colonialism to cross-border experiences and recipe studies.
to recipe studies. Nevertheless, the main focus of our group has always remained the same: to illuminate the
marginal topics that are rarely discussed, embracing the serious with humor
and capturing the fleeting moment in a sweet dramaturgical frame.
