Harbour Sound präsentiert S.U.G.A.R. (GER) // Blowers(AUS) // Mitrallie(BEL)

In the organizer's words:

Mitraille

The city of Antwerp, Belgium, may be known primarily for its port, cathedral and diamond trade, but if you take a look behind the scenes, you will discover a thriving underground scene. The large number of hardcore and garage punk bands gives rise to the suspicion that - in addition to massive PFAS pollution and record-breaking cocaine residues - there must be something in the groundwater.
Mitraille emerged on this scene in 2018, bringing with them a sound that combines the exuberant energy of modern basement hardcore with sickeningly garage and post-punk. Imagine Uranium Club if they were Motörhead roadies with anger management issues.
The band have been rocking their way across Europe with full force since day one, releasing three EPs and a full album along the way. With a new album due out in the fall of 2024, Mitraille is ready to spread the Belgian garagecore gospel once again.

S.U.G.A.R.

Founded in 2020 in the heart of Berlin, shaped by rock music when it reached the point of transforming into something new - stripped down and without vanity.
With growling vocals and fulfilling harmonies, they are backed by a rhythm section that rarely slows down, while the guitar plays melodies that stay in your head for weeks. They sing about the challenges of their beloved city and the dystopian reality into which this world is slowly slipping.
In 2021, they released their self-titled debut album, which was hugely popular and sold out in no time. The second album "II", recorded in Leipzig, captures the raw feeling that takes you back to the roots of garage rock.

Despite their newness to the scene, a hype formed around the band, which earned them well-deserved, sold-out headlining shows in Berlin and at renowned German festivals such as "Get Lost Fest" and "Stoned From The Underground". They also played several support gigs, including with Australians Stiff Richards and American punk legends The Spits, and were even invited to share the stage with the legendary Toody Cole from Dead Moon.
In February 2024, they embarked on a four-week tour of Australia with numerous sold-out shows and festivals in Perth, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne. The band are currently working on new material for their next release on Alien Snatch Records. So keep your eyes and ears open! Something sizzling on the grill ...
