Harder Than The Rock

For almost 30 years, YAAM has been the hotspot for underground music, street art and alternative culture in the heart of Berlin. As a colorful, lively place that celebrates social togetherness, multicultural encounters, art and music, it is the perfect place to show "Harder Than The Rock".

This movie is about The Cimarons, Britain's first reggae band. Although they played a huge role in the rise of the genre from Jamaica and collaborated with legends such as Bob Marley and Paul McCartney, their own music often remained in the shadows. The documentary follows them on their journey to realize their dream: to perform live one last time.

After the film, there will be a Q&A session with the director and an afterparty organized by YAAM. Look forward to an exciting night with great films, rousing music and culture!
