Fourth part of the magical franchise, in which Harry Potter gets to know puberty and the Prince of Darkness, Lord Voldemort, for the first time.
The fourth year at Hogwarts begins for sorcerer's apprentice Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe). Great challenges lie ahead, not only at the Quidditch World Cup, but also at the Triwizard Tournament, where students from three different wizarding schools cross swords to find out who is the better student. Harry is amazed when he is also invited to take part, but is forced to realize that the villains surrounding arch-enemy Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) have not been lying on their hands either.
A lot of enemies, a lot of honor and also a bit of love for Harry Potter in the fourth part of the successful children's book series, this time directed by Mike Newell ("Four Weddings and a Funeral").
Harry Potter is in for a few surprises in his 4th year at Hogwarts. The sorcerer's apprentice discovers strange feelings that revolve around girls as well as sinister signals that center around Voldemort. While Harry takes part in the Triwizard Tournament, one of the most glorious but also most dangerous competitions in the wizarding world, the Prince of Darkness finally finds a way to take shape again.
In his fourth year at Hogwarts, the wizard student is plagued by enormous worries. Firstly, Potter's nemesis Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters turn up at the Quidditch World Cup. Secondly, Harry is supposed to take part in the Triwizard Tournament for Gryffindor, even though he is still too young. This means that he not only has to compete against older and more experienced students, but also solve three extremely difficult tasks. Tasks that lead him to wild dragons, deep into Hogwarts Lake and through a life-threatening maze.
