HARTMANNMUELLER visit their own past tosharpenour view of the present.Theirpiece it is what it isappeared in 2015, in which two isolated performers indulged in monotonous work routines andcreated expressive contrasts betweendestruction andtransience.
Exactly ten yearslater, the view of thepieceisdifferent: in partstransfiguredandsoftenedat theedges, as in apaintingby Monet. In other parts, it is honest, unsparing and clear.
The world in which the new work is created is also different. An unprecedented battle for the right to interpret events has broken out.And in the (social) media, emotionalization is an essential guaranteefor click figures and the widestpossibledissemination of opinions.
In it (still) is what it is, thedailyroutinesof the characters onstage are examined using minimalist andprecise movement elements. Once again, a voice from offstage directs and guides the action. But what or who is this voice?And what messages doesithold for the performers and the audience? HARTMANNMUELLER invite you to a nostalgically intense exploration of hidden emotions and the power of manipulation.
