Stumpy legs? Who has stumpy legs here? Mole Mole is outraged because his nasty neighbor Rabbit once again has nothing better to do than make fun of other animals. This time he's targeting hedgehogs. Hedgehog himself isn't particularly bothered by this, but Mauli doesn't want to put up with the old brawler's nastiness any longer. And so, without further ado, he announces that the hedgehog could easily beat the hare in a race. Before Hedgehog can object, he is part of a bet. What luck that Hedgehog also has the clever little hedgehog as a friend. The three of them hatch an ingenious plan... Nora Schumacher proves with animal wit and skill how relevant the famous fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm still is today and that the most famous bet in the animal kingdom is not about fast legs, but about self-confidence, courage, inventiveness and true friendship.
