Hellmut Hattler is legendary in Germany (KRAAN, TAB TWO, SIYOU'n'HELL) and also a permanent fixture on the international scene as a musician's musician.
Hardly any other German musician has distinguished himself so consistently as an instrumentalist and songwriter with such an unmistakable musical language and has constantly developed further without losing the common thread of his musical recognizability as Echo award winner and exceptional bassist Hellmut Hattler. For several years now, he has been focusing all his experience and passion on his favorite project HATTLER.
Live, the repertoire of the internationally successful HATTLER albums ("No Eats Yes", "Mallberry Moon", "The Big Flow", "Gotham City Beach Club Suite", "The Kite", "Warhol Holidays", "Velocity" and the brand new work "Sundae") is performed by a band that literally manages the balancing act of combining state-of-the-art electronics, handmade instrumental virtuosity and a great voice into an organic unit.
Concertgoers can expect an inimitable blend of cool club sounds, psychedelic
club sounds, psychedelic pop and nu-jazz, which are performed as powerful live versions of the best HATTLER tracks: "We are a real live band and our concerts are always - and without any burden of proof - all about music, rhythm and everything that moves the brain cells and feet". The whole thing is additionally supported by perfect live video projections.
HATTLER's music is powerful and punchy, but also very smooth and mellow, with a sure feeling for special melodies that you won't want to get out of your head. Consistently intelligent and, above all, absolutely independent entertainment that is almost always danceable - and has been on the hottest lifestyle and lounge compilation albums for many years.
This mixture, which is both musical and technical on the one hand and human on the other, "works", indeed, it is musically highly explosive. This is proven not only by the albums mentioned above, but also by the acclaimed tours that have repeatedly brought the band to festivals in China.
