THE STORY
Big Pharma is old and has problems. The competition is chasing him with billions in profits, while his company is simply going down the drain:

The patent for his best-selling drug is expiring. His niece "Pill" is supposed to take over the company one day, but of course not in this desolate state. Together they think about how they
can make money again in the long term. To buy themselves some time, they try to throw some kind of drug onto the market in order to get moon prices, at least in the short term - fictitious prices set by the industry itself. The efficacy is quickly confirmed with falsified studies and bent statistics, and then all that remains is a big advertising campaign to get the whole thing to the customer, sorry, patient. After all, Big Pharma spends more money on advertising than on research!
And in the hospitals? It's been pure chaos for a long time. Hospitals are run like profit-oriented companies. And that's where savings are made. That means someone has to pay the price. Who could that be...
Together with musician Jonathan Bratoëff, the two cabaret artists guide the audience through the history of medicine.
