Iris paints with muted colors, Klaus virtuoso, Gesa tone on tone, Joachim daring, Dietrich precise, Andrea airy, Ljubica cheeky, Gert with many color nuances, Johanna expressive, Willi cautious, Claudius pastose, Ulrike very cultivated. Most of them use acrylic paints, Ulrike, Barbara and Christine create colorful watercolors and gouaches.

Different characters - different styles. What they have in common is the situation in front of the living portrait model and the critical examination of their own work thanks to various color theories and positions from history to contemporary art.

Portrait painting is fascinating, but it is also one of the most difficult genres of painting. Resemblance to the model and conscious use of color are required, individual expression and style are in demand.

The "Monday Painters" will be showing a selection of their work from the last three years' courses with Frido Hohberger in the rooms of the vhs Tübingen and look forward to your visit.
