HEARTSHIP
By Caren Jeß
Sara, a feminist stand-up artist, invites people to her regular program at the Heartship pub - a place for anger, wit and empowerment. Ophthalmologist Ann, who accidentally ends up in one of the shows, has little experience of being outraged in public. She is too ashamed to say that she struggles with sexual assault and transgressions by men, both in her past and in her present. When the two women meet later, an intimate bond develops. Together they face their everyday lives between self-optimization and trauma with great ease and do the only right thing: simply let the pressure off!
