Heidelberger Frühling Liedfestival: Nikola Hillebrand. Alexander Fleischer | Freundliche Visionen

It was clear years ago that she had what it takes to be a star. In 2019, Nikola Hillebrand, then a member of the ensemble at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, won the "Das Lied" competition
competition organized by Heidelberger Frühling; shortly afterwards, she joined the Semperoper ensemble. She is now celebrated at the most important opera houses in Europe, particularly in Mozart roles, and is a regular guest with renowned orchestras as a concert singer, most recently with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Herbert Blomstedt. The seriousness with which Hillebrand continues to put her perfectly nuanced soprano and her creative imagination at the service of the Lied can be heard in this program developed together with her sensitive piano partner Alexander Fleischer.
