Heidelberger Melange - Offene Bühne für Klassik und mehr

On 25.5.25 at 3 pm, the Chapel at Rheinstr. 12/4 will open its doors for the 13th time for Heidelberger Melange, the open stage for classical music and more. But the number 13 shouldn't put us off, because the varied line-up of musicians will once again ensure that this concert will trigger absolute feelings of happiness. Two bands will be performing for the first time. The Heidelberg jazz band Jazzy Licious, fronted by singer Yvonne Vukojevic, will be serving up the finest jazz manouche in a charming and lively manner. The Mannheim-based acapella + guitar formation By The Way will be a little more folky, presenting their very own versions of various evergreens. Also performing for the first time is the young pianist Zaki Darya, who will surprise us with his wide-ranging repertoire - something classical, something from his homeland, something he has composed himself. The young up-and-coming violinist Maria Thomé will be performing for the first time and will present the jewels from her audition repertoire, as a soloist and accompanied by the extremely accomplished pianist Christa Kern, who will of course also shine as a soloist once again. Cellist Jonathan Schrodt is also an old acquaintance and this time he is coming with concentrated cello power, as he is bringing 4 of his colleagues with him. And of course the organizer and presenter Clarissa Müller and the pianist Lewis Naisby are not to be missed, this time with French composers in their luggage.

As always, there will be a rich cake buffet with a good cause.
